Second edit: Everything’s some level of inconclusive, right down to the Amy grant amy is queen design classic shirt it is in the first place but model’s gender only probably being a woman. What I’m taking from this is: Her identity was probably just made up by later writers, she was probably just someone who died without family to take her, or something along those lines. There’s an Atlas Obscura article about this. One of the historians at the university admits that they don’t actually know that she donated her body, so, I don’t know, it seems like a pretty sketchy situation. Right after the morgue denied them a cadaver for “medical deconstruction”. Come on, of course she had a say in what happened to her body! It wasn’t some awful time for womens rights like 2022 She may well have donated her body to the hospital, quite a few people do. A friend of mine passed away and his family donated his so the rare disease he had could be studied more.
