These people will lie to your face with zero regrets. Something drastic has to happen If ANYBODY believes a WORD said by a member of the GOP, that’s on them being stupid. They’ve SHOWN what they are going to do. REPEATEDLY. They will lie, cheat, steal for the final goal: authoritarian rule of the US. Any elected GOP is a cancer waiting to kill democracy. So…yeah. Enough of the lies. This should not be allowed to stand. They clearly lied under oath and there should be consequences for their lack of morality. A better argument would be that none of them lied because none of them specifically said they wouldn’t overturn Roe. They just said they didn’t have an agenda to do so or that Roe was an important precedent. Not really since it was NEVER voted in by the American citizens. Gee, why are y’all so afraid of letting people have a say whether they agree with it or not? The law that established precedent for row v wade was the 14th amendment, are you suggesting the Constitution doesn’t matter? I don’t think that. Just pointing out that there is a difference between an elected politician and an appointed judge. And let’s be real, judges are held to a higher standard than politicians.
