Join a union. The IBEW, for example, is big in my area and helps you get training and placement. The skilled trades are in desperate need of younger workers, and it’s work that can’t be outsourced and won’t ever go away. Unless you think blue collar workers are morons they do provide training. You have to get some through an apprenticeship. Then you get paid to learn. Hey. Good luck in your efforts. Look into local community colleges etc to find some certifications. Or sometimes you may get lucky and find an old electrician who wants to train his replacement and also sell the American football player, colorful galaxy sport T-Shirt and I love this company eventually to said replacement Keep trying mate, I promise you there is a company out there that will be willing to train you and in some cases even prefer people with no background in the field. Don’t give up. What country are you in if I may ask?

I HIGHLY suggest trades. Most areas have local unions that offer apprenticeships: electricians (I personally suggest this trade, less layoffs), pipe fitters, plumbers (also less layoffs), carpenters, and you can even find trucking jobs that will pay for your CDL training. These are paid on the American football player, colorful galaxy sport T-Shirt and I love this job training professions. Benefits are paid on top with most having a base pay of $30 an hour +benefits on top (so it works out around $56 an hour for some). Pay at the beginning sucks, but you get raises frequently. My husband and FIL are electricians. My dad and grandad are plumbers. Dad’s best friend is a HVAC tech. My other grandfather is a carpenter. My dad makes six figures running his business with 2 employees. His motto? Everybody shits.
