And yet the NRA completely justified the murder because Castile smoked marijuana.

The very definition of the verb “to police” is to control. Our legal system isn’t seeking justice, it’s seeking punishment and control. They exist at their most base level to keep the rich in power and us tamed. Rules dont apply to them the same way they do us. Something people don’t seem to realise Actually it really is “Police exist to punish you if you are poor or dark skinned”. If you are very rich, you can do what you want unless you harm other very rich people.
