Holy shit. That’s a lot of money Facebook is absolutely irrelevant and unnecessary at this point. That would by a lot of adrenochrome. All he had to do was do nothing. Or just not have a shitty idea. Learned nothing from Tom. I hope his business fails and he dies peniless All of this really just shows how much Facebook was all about being in the All the young dudes 1972 david bowie shirt in other words I will buy this right place at the right time for Mark. There’s this video of Sean Parker explaining how Facebook should never have succeeded. And he’s absolutely right. Anyone who remembers MySpace days remembers that everybody had one, but then it became a parody of itself. The pages became silly and overdone, the site became a cluster fuck. All this did was give Facebook and opportunity to come in with something newer and cooler and cleaner, and the whole exclusive thing he added on when it was colleges only was just the icing on the cake. Facebook did absolutely nothing new other than cleaning up the UI and building on what MySpace and friendster etc. had already done.

Since then, the All the young dudes 1972 david bowie shirt in other words I will buy this site has just gone steadily downhill into the travesty it is now. Your feed is more ads than it is friends, the UI is trash, the actual advertising interface is horrible, it’s slow, clunky, impossible to figure out intuitively, and is going the same route all these big companies do once they get large. Mark saw an opportunity in college and he took it. Whether it was because he ripped off the Winklevoss twins idea of exclusivity or not, who knows, but it’s pretty clear that since then he’s come up with a whole lot of zero good new ideas on the customer front. I don’t know anyone who uses FB anymore other than to remain connected to old friends. Mostly it’s a place for old people now.
