Since the All heart come home for Christmas Black Cat shirt and by the same token and killing of George Floyd by four Minneapolis police officers on May 25, communities in all 50 states in America have organized peaceful protests against police brutality and the racism built into the nation’s foundation. Calls for justice for Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the many others killed at the hands of the police are reverberating across oceans and continents, with marches and rallies stretching from London to Tokyo. They’re a testament to the power of the Black Lives Matter movement and they’ve inspired many to lend their support, Paris vintage collector Marie Laboucarié included.
