I’d probably have cancelled my other interviews had I gotten that first offer. The luckiest rejection of my life for sure. The point is it’s not a bad idea to apply to different level positions rather than just the Alice in Chains Tripod Dog Album Cover Artwork Men’s Unisex T-shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this entry level. Found out I passed a FAANG tech screen, but they stopped hiring for that job. Still, wasn’t expecting to pass. I’ll try for a different position. I had two take home assignments last month. They took a long time and a lot of energy, but after 10 months of just interview grinding, I remembered I’m actually good at doing the work and I really enjoy it. I impressed both companies, though one chose someone else over me, and the other may not consider me a good culture fit. But I’ve got some mojo back. I’m demonstrably improving at interviewing, even if it’s coming along slowly. I’m getting closer.

it is depressing and i’m convinced i’ll be flipping burgers to pay the Alice in Chains Tripod Dog Album Cover Artwork Men’s Unisex T-shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this bills until the job market recovers (if at all) Luckily my wife makes more than I do. She’ll still make me go flip burger, but i’ll be flipping burger and pay mortgage. I hate to be this person but, you would have to wait for June to end for it to be about the halfway point of the year. I wanna get out of software tech and get into hardware tech or lower level programming where it is less cyclical. I am hoping that the ban on Chinese chip manufacturing will lead to more jobs in that sector due to the need of more specialized chips that can be produced in Western nations. A lot of plants are opening up in the us. I actually started dabbling in learning foundational lower level programming but also trying to juggle full stack job plus FAANG interview prep is just tiring Really random but I’ve been thinking about learning low level stuff too recently. I want to learn how a computer actually works. I’m so many levels of abstraction from the OS and metal it’s silly No change, but that’s probably to be expected. I’ve been looking for a very long time, so if I couldn’t managed to get an offer during a period when they were hiring anybody, it would be unlikely for me to get a job in this market. I’ve given up. I’m an international student in CS that graduated from my Master’s a month ago. My last hope is a potential offer from one company at which I was one of the finalists.
