It has nothing to do with Bangalore. Its you growing with your insecurities. Work on yourself your career and you will be sorted at max in a couple of years 5’5″ is not that short. I’m 5’3″ and doing just fine here. I know guys who are even shorter and have been doing perfectly fine. Why is your self worth proportional to a girl giving you attention? It’s good if they do but what’s the Alfa Romeo Wishbone Ash Shirt so you should to go to store and get this harm if they don’t? Height is beyond your control and looks are subjective. If you are clean and groomed, feel good about yourself, there’s not much one can do about it. You’re a techy, right? Are you smart? Are you good at what you do? If you are, then slowly you’ll build network and relationships. It’s not a movie where you show up in new town and everyone gushes and fawns over you. Even what you may consider handsome guy would take time to build relations with others. People feel comfortable when they meet someone similar so it’s not an anomaly when you see region/religion/language/sports-affinity based groups. You need to find your niche and connect with like minded guys. It’s not magic so it’ll take time a few weeks to a few months based on how approachable you and your surrounding crowd is Born and living here… Trust me when I say this.. many of these so called “bangaloreans” (localities and people from other states) are fake as fuck!! Try to act posh!! With fancy English language (which they come across in tv series and shit) try to dress up fancy to overlap their insecurities.

Focus on work and having fun. You need to enjoy your life first. Don’t expect to be the Alfa Romeo Wishbone Ash Shirt so you should to go to store and get this hero in the movie all the time, learn to play side roles. Get to know other people, their life is definitely more interesting. Learn to listen. You won’t get instant friends at work immediately, most people will be just be in hi, hello terms for a while. I can understand height being a factor if you are looking to date. But as of yet in my 3 decades on this planet I’ve not heard of anyone being rejected from a friendship because they are short. I understand what you must be going through however, may be you are feeling paranoid. I would suggest if you think you have done your part then now don’t stress too much. Try to enjoy your own company and do your stuffs. This will go smooth. I believe these things are common to people from specific states. Many people from bihar, jharkhand are avoided. Probably because of the accent and difference of interests.
