She chose to write about a time when she wished someone would offer to help with something trivial without her having to ask, maybe because she thought it was a relatable experience. Seems pretty harmless to me. Maybe it’s a cultural difference? I know that in some cultures, voicing complaints is usually perceived as a passive-aggressive action meant to shame the listener into doing something. In other contexts and cultures, complaining about trivial things is considered a healthy way to vent pressure that does not entail any desire for others to change their behavior, and even as a way to establish connection with others by sharing your feeling.
