So I got some 350mL plastic containers, drilled as many breathing holes as I could, and packed them with worms, castings and shredded paper. I tried to bring as many worm eggs as I could find but that was not many, so I just brought whole worms. Some did not survive the journey alas, and those that did were crowded around the breathing holes when I finally took them out, the poor things. But it has been over a year now and my mom’s vermicomposting box is going strong!
