I remember going to the movies in the 80s with a ticket price of $5 and my dad reminiscing about how when he was a teen they were a quarter $3.50 to $5 in 23 years is an annualized rate of inflation of 1.56%. That same bill at a relatively normal 2.5% inflation rate 23 years later is $6.18. Generally speaking, the cost of increased wages should come from the organizations profit margin and not to the consumer. Through that’s not how the world works Yeah, a printed letter to the owner of a taco stand. That’s really who needs to know your disapproval of the state’s minimum wage laws.

As a taco bell employee whose not even out of uniform yet this is why we get $15 an hour. We have to sit and deal with people like her everyday. Today I got yelled at because we don’t sell taco salad anymore :/ So, this dingleberry is equating the minimum wage with the cost of tacos, instead of corporate greed. I think this person is dumb, but taco bell is really fucking overpriced now.
