Lol i must be weird that happens from time to time on my channel, ill go into detail about why i like the AJ Terrell Paper American football cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons T-Shirt it is in the first place but game etc and actually post thier channel link in my response telling my viewers to go check them out for a different perspective. I usually end up getting more subscribers and views for some reason. For example, i had a much larger channel comment, something similar to what you experienced. I had like 225 subscribers, and they had around 400k. We had a mini back and forth where i told everyone to check out their channel. Within maybe 5 days, i was at 1100 subscribers after only growing maybe 2 subscribers a day before that. Could it have been a fluke, maybe, but i do find my channel grows after small interactions like this even when the channel commenting is significantly smaller.

I mean… you could also go onto others pages and post positive comments and get your name out there too? How will people know about your channel if you aren’t out there putting your name there where people can click on it to view your channel? As creators we should be putting our names out there by leaving nice comments on others videos within our niches and letting others reading those comments know that we exist. Because chances are if people are watching their channel and you offer something similar, then what harm is there in reminding others there’s another option? Just be cool about it and don’t “flagrantly” self promote, instead just thinly veil your promotion in a positive comment. Because there’s no harm in “I really loved when you talked about _______, we tried/covered/visited as well and documented it on our channel a few months ago but our experience was definitely much different/same than you scribed. It’s great to see how you covered _. I didn’t think of that perspective.”
