Do you guys wear jean shorts? Someone just told me they always look trashy in comparison to shorts of a different fabric and color. But they’re basically my summer uniform lol. I guess I would describe my style as laid back and cool with a hint of sexy and jean shorts fit the Air Raid Or It’s Your Ass Vintage 70s Film Films Character T-Shirt in contrast I will get this bill. They might not be the most fashionable item but definitely aren’t trashy unless you’re wearing daisy dukes or something. They’re just a very classic item They’re probably talking about cut offs that show your cheeks (which, ironically makes you look younger as most teenagers wear ones like these). There are definitely denim shorts that don’t look trashy but it’s also all about what you pair them with! I agree with the other commenter that cuffed pairs look a bit more polished but still casual! I plan on wearing mine with bodysuits and button up shirts tucked in.

I have a similar style and love my jean shorts! I prefer styles with a cuff because I think they feel a bit more intentional. I’ve started adding bodysuits to my jean short outfit rotation pretty heavily these days and feeling really good in that combo. I… love jean shorts. I have a cut off pair that I wear happily all summer with tank tops, tshirts, Birkenstocks, sneakers, Bedrocks… I’ve been eyeing a couple of Abercrombie items that are out of stock in my size – does anyone know if/how often they do restocks? When you have loose legs and intentional rumpling around the hem, it looks better to mirror that with a looser fit up top rather than a skintight fit.
