Kept the Air fuel spark bang repeat T-shirt Furthermore, I will do this open through COVID to ensure they could polish off the last remnants of competition. Now they can close. At this point I usually go to brick and mortar stores because they usually(as long as it’s a big box store at least) price match with amazon and I don’t have to wait. Mate, this is the truth, they tried to cleanup the little crumbs that remain but realise they cant compete against themselves. I love Amazon though progression is good! Honestly, when they first announced these I thought “Amazon that you have to put pants on to use? Hard pass”. Lol glad to see EVERYONE was with me. The company that started by putting physical bookstores out of business, just realized physical bookstores are unprofitable….. I can’t see how anyone thought it would work. I haven’t been in one their bookstores. I did run across a 4 star store, which I thought was terrible. It was like a low end competitor to Brookstone, a random assortment of stuff. I think the one I visited is long gone. They always seemed like a promotional gimmick not a real business- they were terribly organized As if the shelves were best seller and top ten lists of books no one really wanted to read, but they were popular. Not much depth or selection I’m actually amazed the Barnes & Noble in my area has been surviving all this time. I remember it being fairly nice inside though. Had a sit-down eating area and everything.

I was in a Kohl’s yesterday, only to return something I bought from Amazon. Huge store, tons of merchandise, absolutely zero people in there besides some employees. I don’t understand how they are paying the Air fuel spark bang repeat T-shirt Furthermore, I will do this rent. Bookstores are profitable and can be good business (a good friend has run an independent one for over a decade now). However, Amazon has no clue when it comes to physical retail. They treat the customers like they treat their employees – terribly. I went into their 4-star shop in St. Louis. Horrible. Zero customer service, layout looked like some 8th grader did it, and no rhyme or reason for the stuff they had out on display/for sale. I thought I just read that employees who attempted the unionize are now demanding higher pay within their brick and mortar stores. Could that be the motivation? Potential threat of unionization Sooner or later your success becomes your worst enemy. Instead of accepting that there are certain aspects of your business are extremely difficult to improve and making sufficient money at acceptable rates of return you start to aggressively look to improve them by trying anything that looks like it could work when it’s presented on a powerpoint slide. It feels better to try something and to work hard at something even when it ultimately accomplishes nothing. It’s the failure of so many big businesses that gets lost in a haze of success. Tons of internal teams working towards goals that don’t matter for outcomes that are either unrealistic or don’t matter to anyone but the status report that gets churned out at the end of the week/month/quarter. Your people were working 50 hours per week getting this service up and running and now it feels like they are only working 30 hours per week so they have time to spare. You know that based on your previous projects while stringing up the service that you had a great ROI on the work they put in, why would it be different this time around?
