Went from 72 kilo’s to 81 in the African American and Puerto Rican Heartbeat Shirt and I love this course of half a year because I chose to run less and go the gym less often (prioritized my study). Meanwhile they live in a huge rural..almost mansion they could offord on a postman and nurse wage back in the 80’s. And my mom could stop working for a year or 6 when she had both men and my brother. They now both work 3 days a week and live their lives comfortably. I truly love them but the gap-effect is real here. They always, lovingly, pushed me to better myself. But it will not result in anything. We are the first generation that have it worse than the previous. And I think it pains them too…. aint it funny how things like postman even 30-40 years ago could handle a large family but nowadays a postman is essentially barely living in a 1 bedroom apartment.

African American and Puerto Rican Heartbeat Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

So in the African American and Puerto Rican Heartbeat Shirt and I love this span of 1 generation it all went tits up. It’s insane how fast capitalist extremist got it’s hold in such a short amount of time. But this effect isn’t visible for people that are older. People in their mid 40’s and early 50’s still got a slice of the cake. So…when we look at the ones in power and check their age…we know we are all fucked. They don’t feel it. A 5% increase in wage for a 40-50 year old who has already paid of his cheaply bought home ensures he can take another vacation. Their cost of living is extremely low to begin with. A 5% increase for his colleague who’s 24 who does the exact same job and sits across from him at the office ensures he can perhaps pay the rent in time this month (since buying isn’t an option) or go to a restaurant once. You make a good observation. I’m 52, and I often have this feeling like I managed to just slide under a big heavy door about to slam down, like in Indiana Jones.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
