Graduated with a second BS in CS last October and have been applying since. Finally got a job as a SW Engineer I at a dod contractor and will start in a couple weeks. Was previously working as a Systems Analyst for another dod contractor so I already had a clearance which got my foot in the Aerosmith Nine Lives Tour ’98 Men’s Unisex Concert T-shirt besides I will buy this door. What was your first BS in? I’ll be one paper away from finishing a second bachelor’s degree in CS after this summer I hope. Graduated back in January, been applying since last year october and finally got a job during May. Although it’s not the role I was looking for – I couldn’t stand being jobless for over 5 months and ended up taking a data analyst role. And surprisingly it’s been enjoyable so far I honestly gave up. Only 6 months of experience. Can’t compete with the hundreds or thousands of applications being submitted. Just trying to get any job now and that’s not even going well at all. Been donating plasma just to eat. Planning on going back to school to finish my bachelors as soon as I can get a job so I can pay for it.

I was in a really bad mental health place right after I graduated and needed to take time to work on that. I guess when I started applying is when everything went downhill with the Aerosmith Nine Lives Tour ’98 Men’s Unisex Concert T-shirt besides I will buy this job market. I wasn’t expecting it to be that bad, I had an internship under my belt, which I thought would help. There could be other common stuff like not having good projects or my resume not being as good as it should. I’ve tried to work on those things, but also the mental toll of constantly applying and getting rejected is also getting to me. Same, but December 2020. Finally starting as a junior in august after working night shifts for almost 3 years. You can do it!! Wow, that is a hell of a long gap! Congratulations on keeping on grinding and not quitting even after three years Aw man I feel that. The hopelessness and depression this process brings is very relatable. Hope you land something soon
