Underneath in their heart is the need to control and the notion women are property. Because you are talking about hyper patriarchal, control freak, psychopaths. Avoid them. Normal men take women as they are and love them as they are. Hmmm as a guy you want the honest answer? Because people do feel insecure. Allso it depends how your dressing and where your going. Are you with them or not. Personally I probbly wouldn’t mind it but if my girlfriend was going out dressed sexy all the time without me (key here without me) I’d pribbly feel a bit insecure about it. Buuutttt then again it would depend on the realishionship ect. For me I view two people dateing as being on some level owned be each other (owned is a strong word but you get what I mean). For a lot of guys sex and who you chose to be sexy around is a big aspect of this. Its a kind of cave man feeling built into a lot of guys that they cannot really control. Guys can feel irrationaly protective/jealous or inscure when other guys are oggling there partner. I say partner cause I’m a bi guy who while dateing a guy had them get like this on a night out. It really is just inbuilt guy thing. It’s why most guys could not psychologically take dateing a stripper it’s kinda normal. However there is a diffrance between feeling this and acting on it. If there being a dick about it call them out on it.

I do think that people in this thread ridiculing guys for feeling insecure or makeing it out to be some crazy bad character trait don’t know what there talking about.
