It’s this notion that if you’re not in one category or another for one issue, you’re a victim of the Admit It Now Working At Long John Silver’s Would Be Boring Without Me Shirt and by the same token and Golden Mean Fallacy on literally everything. There is no middle ground for certain issues. If you stay ‘neutral’ on genocide you aren’t condemning the oppressors and therefore it’s safe to say you’re on their side Obamacare was the “centrist” policy. It was first implemented state level by Republicans in the 90s. It doesn’t address the fundamental issue and makes sure that the problems stay around. Centrism is almost never a solution. Just a way of preserving the current situation and actively calls those who have real solutions radical. theres a difference between centrism and just blatant ignorant things some “centrists” say. While yes there is evil on both sides or any political spectrum you look at there is always the more obvious evil in any situation. Which isnt me saying that one side is worse than the other but there has to be reasonable discussions on the wrongs of each parties without any bias going into it and thats where a lot of people who identify as centrists go wrong. People will always have bias towards any situation and its made even more difficult when people work their asses off to make the other side look bad when they have their own shitty deeds People get upset when they don’t know others opinions. Being a centrist usually means not having strong opinions either way, which usually pisses people off.

“Whose to say whose REALLY at fault for the Admit It Now Working At Long John Silver’s Would Be Boring Without Me Shirt and by the same token and Holocaust? Maybe it was the Nazis. Maybe it was the Jews. I think they both share equal blame.” – The Centrist Position Centrism ends up hurting progress, by mudding the debates with a “both sides are bad” rhetoric that ends up encouraging people to not vote or waste their vote. Because they think that if you’re not Far Right, then you are Far Left, and they also think that if you’re not Far Left, then you are Far Right. They don’t see the middle ground. I was just on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Facebook page the other day. They do not respect the opinions, beliefs, or values of others. And they can’t admit when they are wrong. The Moderator is just as bad. I put up a definition the other day and the Mod deleted it. I posted an actual true, real definition and they didn’t want to hear it.
