More research led them to the ABBIE HOFFMAN IN HIS AMERICAN FLAG SHIRT moreover I love this Japanese art of Kintsugi, or ‘golden joinery,’ in which fractured porcelain is repaired with lacquer infused with gold dust. “The philosophy behind it is that if something’s broken, you can mend it, and it becomes more precious, more valuable and stronger,” she says. It was a perfect, hopeful, metaphor for the emotional times we’re living in—and also the visual spur to start dicing up blue and white Liberty prints and piping them with white or gold binding, and otherwise reconfiguring the rose prints, lace, and georgettes and organic cottons they had in stock. In the mix are a lot of easy, familiar, voluminous Preen by Thornton Bregazzi shapes, punctuated with asymmetric frills and ruching. There’s a pink satin quilted jacket, almost like an antique bed jacket, designed “to be cozy and comforting” and some sparky lemon and leaf-green dresses.

For accessories, they called Vicky Sarge of Erickson Beamon to see if she could make proper versions of the ABBIE HOFFMAN IN HIS AMERICAN FLAG SHIRT moreover I love this children’s earrings and necklaces. “She kindly said, ‘bring them in, let’s see what they’ve done! So they brought in their box of smashed china and Vicky gave them a tour of the Erickson Beamon workshop. They had an amazing time.”

Quick and easy to upload image and also, very easy to complete the online order. I can’t believe how quickly they completed and delivered my order. The image looks better than I could have hoped for. It was my husband’s 66th birthday and the image gave him a good giggle. I shall be re-ordering again this week using the gift voucher that came with order.
