Even if it’s not, sarcasm is largely reliant on tone, and if you are somebody that reads in monotone the. It’s easy to miss sarcasm.Autistic people who struggle with sarcasm exist, and maybe they also deserve to have a relatively normal life without being ostracized for their lack of social skills. Don’t you think it would be a better way of dealing with strangers to simply be direct instead of getting frustrated when they don’t follow the 7 Support Harrison Butker Kansas City Chiefs Shirt but in fact I love this script you had in your head and which you didn’t share? Don’t get me wrong and since I never met an autistic person I might be wrong, but if you try to sale something and the other person says something like OP did, my first guess wouldn’t be,” This person definitely wants whatever I want sell.”

There are many autistic people in the 7 Support Harrison Butker Kansas City Chiefs Shirt but in fact I love this comments saying they missed the sarcasm. It is pointless to expect autistic people to think like neurotypicals just because their job requires them to talk to clients. It won’t happen. And even if it is harder for them, no one can really go through life without interecting with others. Autistic people are bound to make this kind of mistakes. Since it isn’t an obvious condition, most people will just assume them to be a little weird, creepy or dumb. Austism isn’t that rare either, so it is plausible to consider that you came across some people on the spectrum and didn’t even realize. Maybe it was that weird kid in middle school nobody wanted to befriend. Well, I understood they don’t necessarily get written sarcasm ok, but that wasn’t my point in my question. As someone with ADS and some other things, I also sometimes don’t get certain things, but like I said, when someone tells me, again, something like OP, I knew it’s the wrong time. Again asking about not getting the very first thing, not the sarcasm. YOU intuitively knew it wasn’t the time, but some people might not. Just like a daltonic person won’t ever learn how to see colors even if they develop some strategies to guess them, and a kid with cerebral palsy is unable to perform movements perfectly. We don’t get frustrated when the daltonic guy doesn’t guess a color right even if he could theoretically manage to do so, do we? One can memorize that trees are green, but I figure most people would give him a pass if he said they are red. Many disabled people will struggle to perform stuff that is easy and trivial to everyone else. There is no need to be a dick to them for that.
