Our elders grew up in a different generation and I can understand the 68 Toriyama Akira 1955 2024 Thank You For The Memories Signature shirt and by the same token and direct approach they do, but youngsters from our generation should know what personal boundaries are, what things should be asked on a first date etc. I add extra zeros to my CTC when anyone asks how much I earn. They realize it’s a dumb question and waste of time when I say 5cr while driving around in a beaten Hyundai wearing Hawaii slippers thats probably because they are very accustomed to these kind of people bragging about their wealth, living standards, possessions and the no of interviews that they had to do before they chose the current one. In India, if you aren’t married after a certain age, the assumption (of people born in 40’s, 50’s, 60’s) is that you aren’t earning well enough or there is something ‘wrong’ with you.
