My first Apple product was that iPod mini back in 2004. It was the first model, before they started making it in fun colors. It took me a minute to be able to afford an iPhone after its release, but I haven’t really looked back and continue to use Apple products. If iTunes was worth a damn, I’d wish they continued making the Classic, and would buy one and start ripping CDs in lossless, but the iPod touch was never worth owning for anyone who had an iPhone Man I still have my 160gb classic. I don’t use it because the battery last like an hour now but yeah that thing got me through highschool and I loved it so much. I’m assuming they are also axing the iPod Touch, I mean the iPod Touch has technically evolved into the entry level iPhones and iPads. In name it dies, in tech it has lived on. Rip. Wow I didn’t realize this would hit me so hard. My 5th gen iPod was the first major purchase I made when I started working at 17. I LOVED that thing. Being able to watch videos on the go on a 2 inch screen absolutely blew my mind back in the day. I will pray to whatever is holy that my 256gb iPod Classic doesn’t die…even though they killed that years ago.

Hey Apple, how about putting a better DAC in your other devices now? I’ve yet to hear music on any Apple device that could match my iPod Classic. My iPhone XS sounds like garbage by comparison and I had to buy a DAC for my MacBook to make it tolerable as a home music server.
