They do. I still use a pixel from 14 and before that it was some brick of a blackberry. People just don’t take care of their shit or put a ton of extras on it that aren’t needed to bog them down. But the 4th of july America firework patriot usa just here to bang shirt and I will buy this most improvement, and the biggest market, is for budget phones, display, audio, storage, performance, camera, software, literally every aspect of budget phones has beem improved significantly over the last 3 years. Budget phones are huuuuge, and apple is seething every day for not being able to break into that market. They generate a lot of revenue, but their YOY growth has been slowly decreasing in smartphone market. so if you have a budget phone from 3-5 years ago I’d suggest buying a new, slightly more expensive budget phone, and see it last 7 years. I mean, I kept my S7 edge until last year. I downgraded to a A52 and I realised that I really don’t use my phone for a lot.

they are being built to last longer. My iPhone 6 which was used from 2017-2019 was very laggy in almost everything it did. This iPhone 8 I’m using now that’s been used everyday since 2018 is only laggy under increased stress like clicking into multiple links etc. Only problem is the 4th of july America firework patriot usa just here to bang shirt and I will buy this battery which drains after a couple hours use but it’s still perfectly capable of lasting a working day if you don’t need to use it constantly, but that can be replaced. Your logic is off. It’s 2022, I’m shocked my phone isn’t a blank box with a la cart content streamed to me a forced hardware update every year. Phones can last 5 years easily… but it is planned obsolescence (especialy for Android) by refusing to provide security updates after only 2 or 3 years starts making the phone risky to use. Still using my iPhone 8 (which is over 5 years old). Have to charge it overnight, and on the 30 minute commute to and from work. It’s starting to experience slow down. But not enough for me to want to shell out $1,000 for a new phone.
