Pattinson had great screen presence but was overshadowed by Colin Farrell, Paul Dano and Zoe Kravitz in my opinion. Alfred was sidelined which is unfortunate cause Andy Serkis did what he could with what he was given. I will say it was better then Ben Affleck’s version but it still doesn’t touch The Dark Knight Trilogy for me personally. The Batman is a solid film none the 30 Years Of 1992 2022 The Golden Girls Shirt Also,I will get this less. So Barry Keoghan is the joker???? That’s fucking wild . Why does everyone talk in this movie like someone nearby is sleeping and they don’t want to wake them up? Pattison really nailed the bat-glare. Dude has movie star eyes that could tell you 100 stories with just one look. Maybe I wasn’t properly paying attention when it actually happened but why wasn’t Alfred reduced to human lasagne when the bomb exploded? I could suspend by disbelief in him not dying but there was barely a scratch on him… He threw the bomb and ducked mostly behind the desk just before it exploded. And also he was in the hospital for the rest of the runtime.

But…the 30 Years Of 1992 2022 The Golden Girls Shirt Also,I will get this one for me was the explosion to the face that batman took, and is basically perfectly fine hours later. I cringed when the riddler smirked at batman during the diner arrest, I don’t cringe easily, Bravo Paul Dano ?? ?? ?? Coolest movie I have ever seen. In my humble opinion, it has elevated the comic book movie genre and changed the game a bit. Although it’s in the trailers, the shot of Batman dropping through the ceiling of the arena to stop the riddler goons was so PEAK Batman/Batman The Animated Series with the Giacchino score. So many awesome moments in this movie that just felt so “classic Batman” translated from comics, games or the cartoons. Phenomenal. It’s really good, and I’d really recommend seeing it. My only gripe is that I feel like it “pulls some punches” throughout it. Like the script was complete and then they said “Oooo we can’t do that” and that’s why the pacing sometimes feels off. We’re told throughout the middle third of the film that basically, the police are almost entirely corrupt and at the end of the day working for this crime syndicate. And like, yeah this raises the stakes and makes sense for the universe. But then inexplicably Falconi says “haha! The police work for me batman!” and the door opens and there are all these cops bathed in light and Head Cop says “looks like… not all of them do”. It just felt so jarring. Like Head Cop could have put some sunglasses on and said “looks like Blue Lives do matter after all” with the same effect. It really just felt like they built towards something and then said “ooo we can’t have all the no name cops be bad people will write articles :/”
