And the more conservative your community, the more hair-trigger people are gonna be about these things. A dude in a man bun will not be presumed gay in San Francisco as automatically as he will be in Wichita.

I attend a very conservative Christian school in a very conservative area in the South and there are tons of young boys- teenagers who have long hair and wear it in a bun. So many of the girls at school also have their hair dyed a different color. In fact, the majority of guys who have well-maintained long hair are pretty much never presumed gay, unlike some of the guys with shorter hair and lack of hygiene.
