Not being seen as a potential physical threat. The list goes on… I understand what you’re saying, but there are fundamental differences between most men and most women, even neurologically. I agree that we should all just be people, but you can’t simply do away with millennia of cultural development. Besides, there is a reason women were originally dominated by men. We have different values in many ways. It’s not like physical strength is the only reason women became subservient. I don’t know many women who don’t like cats, I know lots of men who don’t though. A huge part of that comes from our cultural norms, but where do you think those came from? Fundamental differences in our behaviour and priorities. I work in an industrial field, and about 99% of employees with engineering educations are men. That’s not because women can’t be engineers, it’s because they simply aren’t interested in the subject. It’s not as if our culture can be blamed entirely for that, there has to be a predisposition common to women that draws them toward different fields.

The majority of women and men are different in many ways. You simply can’t expect people to start behaving as if that’s not the 2024 TIWWWB OUr Time Rays Shirt and by the same token and case. Even as simple as the way we think is different. It’s not just “we just have a couple of different body parts.” The differences affect who we are. One of my favorite experiments is getting babies and making them choose toys. All kinds of colors and types. Girls mostly chose things like dolls while boys chose like cards and balls. The differences exist from birth. Accepting it and embracing it is the only real choice here.
