50 – I dreaded this decade and it’s been very bad in some ways – death of remaining parent, serious illness for myself, leaving a job I had for a long time but there have been some good parts – recovering from illness and getting a new appreciation for life. 60 is getting close now and I intend to make the 2024 NCAA Texas & Aggies Women’s Tennis National Champions shirt and I love this most of it. Coincidentally at age 42. When I for the first time in my life heard my Doc saying: “At your age, this condition is totally normal…” 43. Training martial arts and the kids 1/2 my age have cardio for days and run rings around me, plus injuries take ageeeees to heal from. I wish I was 30 again! 😀 I’m 28 and live in a university city. I have to go into the city centre a lot on friday and saturday nights and for a while the freshers looked like me. In the past few years or so they’ve progressively started looking more and more like babies. To the point were if I tried to blend in with them they’d go ‘ew….whose the old guy?’. That makes me feel old.

I’m 19 now. I feel old. I see people not that older than me having kids and getting married. I go to uni and I made friends with PhD and Master’s students who later turned out to be my teachers. And I’m kind of an old soul. I have always related more with people 5-10 years older than me than people my own age. Mainly because my older brother is 7 years older than me, and all of my cousins are of that age group, and we all live very close by and meet regularly. I don’t feel old like my days are near. But I no longer feel like I’m a kid. I feel like I’m a grown adult with responsibilities, and with every year that goes by responsibilities are gonna keep growing. I’m 26. My ankles, knees, and hips all hurt, but not all the 2024 NCAA Texas & Aggies Women’s Tennis National Champions shirt and I love this time and it’s not severe pain either. Just makes climbing in and out of my forklift at work a bit uncomfortable.
