For the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship Emporia Shirt Furthermore, I will do this most part people CAN disagree on most topics, but we’ve boiled down to Yes/No on really 3 major topics maybe 4 if you count immigration, that directly impact certain people’s daily lives in ways most other stuff does not. Those 3-4 topics also happen to be dividing party lines. The internet. It’s allowed everyone to have a specific community carved out to cater specifically to your own interests/worldview, with very little to no pushback or criticism. On smaller sites, or the internet of old, this was self evident – but larger social media platforms will do this for you by curating your feed and putting you in a perceptual bubble for the sake of encouraging engagement. Most people aren’t really aware of this, even if they kind of know about the algorithms in the abstract, and millions upon millions of new users were just dumped onto these sites with really no experience or wider perspective of the internet, thanks to smart phones. The more you engage, the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship Emporia Shirt Furthermore, I will do this more the spiral continues and leads us to think that we’re ready to kill each other. But that’s not really true. Just turn off the tech for a while and go meet people in person. It’s not as bad as it seems. There is the liminal and the subliminal. The obvious is Social Media, the internet, tv/movies, media in general, and our phones. We have “propoganda” coming from all sides, and people have their own niche groups and subgroups online that they are part of which encourage a hive mind thinking. People giving FAR too much credit to online posts, critique, comments is a big problem too. It does not reflect society at all….. trolls, flamers, and so on is a well known thing. People bitching online is well known. But for some reason, we or atleast media and companies, give FAR too much credit and attention to online posts and social media….. despite it being a poor reflection of how people think or act in real life.
