They just took some aspects of that campaign’s ending and put it at the end of the main game in RE4 remake I was aware that Wesker had a presence in the original RE4, but… So far, in the remake series, we haven’t dealt with Wesker as a character at all. When he popped up in OG RE4, we already knew who he was and pretty much what he was trying to pull. However, I imagine some players may be experiencing these games for the first time through the remakes. That audience doesn’t have the context that returning players like you or I have – my thinking is that if they are gonna introduce Wesker in the remakes at this point, they will probably want to back track and flesh him out more before moving onto something like an RE5 remake, for example. Wesker was not actually in OG RE4’s campaign, but he was mentioned very frequently, by Ada, Krauser and even Leon. That’s what they cut in RE4R, along with Krauser’s involvement with Wesker which made me a little upset because… I mean look at my PFP lol, I hope the new Seperate Ways DLC shows us how important Wesker is to the RE Universe as a whole again, if it ever actually comes out that is.

Code Veronica is one of my favourite RE games but I’ve never managed to finish it, it’s got great atmosphere, environments, enemies, pretty much everything but it’s a pain to play unless you have precognition. I voted code Veronica and RE1 myself too Same, I stated that was not just my most wanted but the most needed as well. Stated a remake of 5 will be welcome as well, and that I wanted to see the Spencer estate in the RE Engine with both OTS and FP options like Village.
