Some are the 2001 paper scissors stone catatonia rock band trending shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this resentful, spiteful bunch we’ve seen expressing that they’re offended that they paid off their debt, so others should have to suffer as well. This assumes everyone is the same. This assumes everyone has the same skills and opportunities and no one experiences unfortunate circumstances outside their control. This is just more of the Just World Fallacy mixed with some Boomer-esque “I got paid $3 an hour back my day (when $3/hr was equivalent to over $15/hr today) and paid off my college tuition with a summer job (back when tuition was a tenth of what it is today).” A variation on this is the “I avoided college because of the debt, so others should have to suffer because they benefited from college,” but again, this assumes everyone who went to college has a degree and that that degree has helped them succeed and get good jobs. That isn’t the case.

We need to stop pretending that college is some privileged experience. We need to stop pretending that community college doesn’t exist. And we need to both forgive existing public student loan debt and make future public college tuition-free. I had to pay for childcare. If they start giving free childcare. I’m gonna be so mad. This is also about student loans You know what would be hilarious, if Biden manages to get reelected on a platform of “no I will cancel student debt, pinky promise for realsies this time” and then still don’t do it for 4 more years. The meltdown on Reddit would be cinematic. With inflation and rent increasing and jobs not really giving raise unless you job hop / relocate… when these loans come in, millions won’t be able to put money into the 2001 paper scissors stone catatonia rock band trending shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this economy besides food lol

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
