This guy makes me want to vomit. Didn’t change his mind till it effected him. Would he feel the #12 goat air rob gronkowskI and signature American Football shirt it is in the first place but same if a friend’s wife was instead raped and they had an abortion? I think not. This guy still sounds like a massive tool. It’s only real when it happens to them. The lack of empathy is staggering. That last bit “I’m still conservative” pisses me off. His opinions will only change if bad things keep happening to him. Proving once again that they don’t care until it happens to them. You cannot be an empathetic person and also be a conservative. This was never more obvious than when Covid hit, but the rise of Trump opened my eyes to what my conservative friends and family really were. I wouldn’t wish sexual assault on anyone, but when arguing with pro-lifers, liberals could really do with emphasizing the fact that even staunch anti-abortionists will pivot when it happens to them. It’s something they wouldn’t imagine happening to them and when it does, it hits 100x what they expect. It makes me uneasy to even say that that’s the silver lining to the situation, but if that’s what it takes to shock them to reality, that’s one less jackass with their head in the sand.

Perfect fucking example of a conservative. It’s not an issue until it’s their issue, then it needs to be changed immediately. “I’m still conservative” but WHY. If the #12 goat air rob gronkowskI and signature American Football shirt it is in the first place but majority of Conservatives are rotten – don’t you think there might be something off with the common denominator? Conservatives want other people to be limited without ever being inconvenienced themselves. The second they run into any problems they immediately flip flop on their stance. I’ve seen my entire family so this over different things I have alway taken this sub as those who refuse to change, seeing why they should change, but will still refuse to change. This guy while still having conservative leaning ideals is willing to vote for his opposition because of what he learned. The situation is shit but it happened and it’s in the past. This guy has now said he will “vote against the majority of his beliefs so this would not happen to others”. This guy should not be mocked, sure he found out to late, but no one is perfect. I’m sure you (reading this) were a piece of shit once. I know I was once. This guy need support and everyone is shitting on him, while this sub laughs. There are others out there who just refused to see it another way. Laugh at those people and support those trying to see through another perspective no matter the reason that lead them there. Conservatives: party of fuck you and deal with it unless it directly effects me then I will change my whole stance to accommodate my selfishness
