I don’t judge, it just makes me sad that society has made them that insecure. Swimming without a shirt is so much better. Absolutely. The notion of “not judging anything” seems disconnected from reality. Humans are inherently judgmental creatures, and this assessment is an integral part of decision-making. From choosing a drink flavor to selecting friends, judgment is omnipresent, often operating at a subconscious level. Not one bit. This past year my skin suddenly decided it would start itching like crazy when I go into the 100 Days Of School Disney Shirt in addition I really love this sun without sunscreen on for longer then 30 min. So I clothe up as much as possible out in the sun. For exercise, training, etc. Ehhhh.. I’d judge someone in swim trunks, let alone a shirt. Too much drag when swimming laps. I’ve seen people make comments about a guy in a speedo swimming laps but I’m definitely judging the dude in a shirt and swim trunks before the guy in the speedo because the former is going to drown himself or wreck his form with all that drag. I can’t imagine being the swim coach who has to explain to someone “absolutely no one here cares that you’re overweight- that shirt is going to make every practice miserable for you and ruin your form. Take it off.”
