I’ve experienced this when transferring flights at Abu Dhabi. When going through security, they let a Caucasian passenger ahead of me without any questions. He was carrying a half empty bottle of bottled water. When he asked if he needed to toss it, they waved him through with a smile. When it was my turn through security, the 06 Years 2017 2023 Riverdale Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt Apart from…,I will love this security guy (presumably a local) asked me to throw away my empty bottle! I merely asked him why an empty bottle was an issue (as they had just waved through that other guy) and he literally snatched the bottle from my hand, tossed it away and snapped “Now just go”. Honestly your experience is quite mild given Lufthansa’s horrid standards. My worst experiences have always been when I flew Lufthansa. Have been stopped for a random screening every single time I have transited via FF. It gets quite annoying when the only people being flagged down are brown guys.

The flights for the 06 Years 2017 2023 Riverdale Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt Apart from…,I will love this India leg are always the worst of the lot, just rickety junk which aren’t even cleaned properly. They frequently screw up your meals. I remember once going hungry for an entire leg because they ran out of everything and the only food option they had was beef. Not sure who was the genius incharge of the pantry decisions for a flight to India. Problem is most Indians just suffer the discomforts silently and don’t speak up so they know they can get away with substandard services. At this point I gladly shell out the extra $500 and fly via middle east rather than dealing with any of the European airlines. From my experience I will say three things. It is either blind racism or a default negative image of Indians because of the media and also certain Indians abroad or the fact that many Indians aren’t very comfortable tipping which I even when I worked in the service industry never saw this as a compulsory obligation for the customer to meet Indians are usually hated on flights. It’s a mix between racism and behaviour. However you shouldn’t be judged basis someone else’s behaviour. I would suggest mentioning it the next time and escalating it. If you’re a frequent flier they will definitely respond Its not your fault…probably based on their experience of dealing with the average Indian they meet. The treatment is generally very different in business class. I have noticed similar thing when I travelled Air India from France to Tamil Nadu. Every announcement was in Hindi or English and my parents who don’t speak either couldn’t understand anything they announced. Good thing I was with them. Sucks to be discriminated within the same country.
