I hated it ad a child but it grew on me as an adult so that now, Solo Tour 2023 John Mayer Sob Rock Hoodie T-Shirt I sometimes crave it. But not the twizzlers crap. Or black jelly beans – insipid. But those rich soft chewy licorice hit a particular receptor perfectly. I hate the flavor but love the smell because my grandparents loved eating it. They would always give us grandkids a piece when we saw they had candy and it would get spit out so fast. They’d laugh and continue eating their candies. I love the memories I get when I smell it. I love it! My first memory of it is my great grandfather giving some to me when I was about 5. It was his favourite I’m American. American black licorice is absolutely horrible but there is something about Dutch licorice (super salty) that I do love.

Love it, and especially black licorice ice cream which I get shipped in from Wisconsin about every 5 years or so. Licorice has an odd texture (oddly strawberry licorice does not have the same texture). I also like zambucca. I’ll buy a multi-pound bag of bulk black licorice from the Dutch store, then make myself sick eating far too much of it over and over again over the next few days. Black licorice is both the second-best candy flavor (after red licorice) and the first-best jelly bean flavor. :’) Damned near everyone in Iceland and Denmark — both always in the Top Ten lists of happiness — just about live for salt-licorice. I’m not sure if anywhere else, but here we have Choc Bullets. A milder liquorice (maybe 1.5cm long and 1/2 the diameter) coated in chocolate. Much easier to stomach than ‘straight’ liquorice. My mom helps keep them in business. If I didn’t look like her clone, I’d Queen whether I’d been switched at birth or something. Nah you just don’t like it so to you assume that everyone else HAS to feel the same way you do or there’s something wrong with them, it’s referred to as digital tribalism where people form a “us verses them” mentality. It’s as common as sports rivalries and has become increasingly prevalent with social media.
